Once a week, for 6 weeks, immerse yourself in this program of Sivananda Yoga guided by Cheryl Minkoff. Sivananda Yoga is a Classical Hatha Yoga Style that allows you to connect physically (asanas (poses), mindfully (mediation), and calmly (pranayama/breath). This practice gives you the time to build on your flexibility, strength and time to work internally (the mind).
Each one and a half hour class will take time to focus on sun salutation flow, variations/alignment of each asana/pose, while working on your mental connection to your practice. It is the perfect time to allow yourself to work into each pose and figure out where your body and mind are at that moment.
You will also be provided with a resource to help you to continue your practice throughout the week.
