Introduction to Ladies Who Lift
Saturdays from 11:45am to 1:00pm
This program is for women interested in strength training (weights/machines) who have little to no experience.
In this four-part class you will learn what strength training is and how to progress through a training program to build muscle, strength and lose fat. The first class will focus on safety, choices and alternatives between weights and machines, how to use equipment, etiquette, and most importantly an intro to proper form and technique. The first week will focus on the importance/how to warm up, flexibility and mobility, and how to set up your week of training. The remaining three weeks will focus on performing exercises that will be utilized in your strength training program (upper body day, lower body day and a total body day).
