Weight Room and Cardio Room Sign-Ups

Beginning June 23, our members will need to sign up to use our Weight Rooms and Cardio Room so that we can respect physical distancing requirements and keep our members safe. This is different from what you’re used to, but we are sure that you will find signing up for these rooms simple and just one small step that you didn’t have to do before.

If you have used our MINDBODY app to sign up for classes, you will see that signing up for the Cardio Room and the Weight Rooms is a little different. If you have not needed to use the MINDBODY app, you will find that it is not difficult to do. Below are instructions on how to reserve a time slot in either our Cardio Room or Weight Rooms. You will also find a video at the end if you’re more of a visual person.

  1. If you haven’t already, you can download the MINDBODY app on your phone from Apple’s App Store or from Google Play.

  2.  Open the app. If this is the first time you’re using the app, you will need to login using your email and password. If you’ve can’t remember your password, you can click on “Forgot Password?” after you’ve entered your email address. Follow the directions to reset your password, then login into the app.
  3. Search for “Yellowknife Racquet Club”. Once you’ve found us, you can always “favourite” the club by clicking on the the heart beside our name.
  4. At the bottom of the page, choose “View Schedule”.
  5. You will be presented with a calendar for the current week with a list of classes for that day. We need to book a time slot in our weight rooms or cardio room, so choose “Appointments” above the calendar.
  6. Next, select either “Cardio Room” or “Weight Room”. You can book sessions in 30 minute increments. You can have two 30-minutes sessions in the Cardio Room, back-to-back, and three 30-minutes sessions in the Weight Rooms, also back-to-back.
  7. It might seem a bit strange, but on the next page you will need to choose either “Cardio Room” or “Weight Room” again below the heading “Pick a Staff”.
  8. Next, you will be able to choose the day (within the next 7 days) that you would like to visit the club.
  9. Choose the time you would like to begin your workout.
  10. Lastly, press “COMPLETE BOOKING” to finalize your time slot.

That’s it! Now you’re all set for your workout.
