We offer the most diverse line up of group exercise classes in Yellowknife! During the winter season we run close to 40 fitness classes on a weekly basis, all included in your membership. Your membership also includes specialty classes such as Barre, Yoga, Spin (indoor cycling) and POUND® at no extra cost!

Our well equipped studio has brand new hardwood flooring, wall to wall mirrors, natural light and an air handling system. We have a wide variety of equipment including TRX™, ViPR™ and IndoRow WaterRowers. Many of our classes incorporate this equipment into a group setting. In fact, ViPR™ Group Fitness Classes are offered exclusively in Yellowknife by the Racquet Club.

Our Yoga program is supported by a large selection of props including blocks, bolsters, blankets and straps. Forgot your Yoga mat? No worries, our full access memberships include FREE Yoga mat rentals!

SPECIALTY CLASSES & WORKSHOPS: Throughout the year we offer sign up programs such as Early Morning Workouts and classes aimed at specific populations (ie Post-Natal). You can register for these programs at the front desk. Payment is required upon registration.

WEIGHT & CARDIO ROOM ETIQUETTE: Just a reminder to be mindful of cleaning the equipment after use and putting weights, bands, etc., away. Also during peaktimes (4:30-8:00) limit your time on the cardio equipment to 30 minutes if other members are waiting.

WEIGHTROOM ORIENTATIONS: Your membership includes a FREE strength training and cardio machine orientation with Devin Madsen, one of our Certified Personal Trainers. Please contact devin@ykracquetclub.com to set this up. This session is intended to provide you with an overview of the equipment we have available.
